NC 211 (ABERDEEN ROAD) WIDENING, R-5709, HOKE AND MOORE COUNTIES

NC 211 (Aberdeen Road) Widening, R-5709, Hoke and Moore Counties: The NCDOT will widen approximately 15.4 miles of N.C. 211 between U.S. 15/501 in Aberdeen and east of West Palmer Street (S.R. 1244)/Mockingbird Hill Road (S.R .1311) in Raeford in Moore and Hoke Counties. Portions of 211 will be converted to what is known as a “superstreet”; this involves implementing reduced-conflict intersections. These intersections are designed to limit collisions by eliminating traffic crossovers.
