JOHNSTON ST. / SANDY RIDGE RD., U-4758, GUILFORD CO

The NCDOT will widen 4.4 miles of Johnson Street and Sandy Ridge Road from Skeet Club Road to Interstate 40 in High Point. The project calls for the addition of two travel lanes, as well as bicycle and pedestrian accommodations.

While property acquisition has already begun, utility relocation should start in 2023. Construction is slated to begin later that year.
